There is a full schedule of MLB games ready to take place this weekend, and there will be plenty of big storylines as well. With the Trade Deadline approaching on August 2, you will see players getting traded all around the league this weekend.
You can also find some great MLB betting options for games set to take place all weekend long, and putting those picks into a four-team parlay is a great way to go. With that in mind, here are the four games that you should be targeting around Major League Baseball and other progressive parlays.
Friday: Miami Marlins vs. New York Mets
A quick look at the standings tells you that the New York Mets are a much better team than the Miami Marlins, but baseball doesn’t always work like that. Sandy Alcantara starts for Miami on Friday night, and it’s just never a good idea to bet against Miami with him on the mound.
Alcantara is 9-4 with a terrific 1.81 ERA on the year, and he just about goes the distance in nearly every start. Miami does have trouble scoring runs, but it might not matter with Alcantara on the mound.
New York is coming off of a sweep of the Yankees, and there could be a bit of a letdown in this game. Start your MLB Picks and parlay by taking the Marlins at home to beat the New York Mets. Other bets and parlays are available from the NBA Parlay bets to
Saturday: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 at Colorado Rockies
The Los Angeles Dodgers are in Colorado this weekend for a series against the Rockies, and this will be a great betting opportunity. Clayton Kershaw is ready to make the start on Saturday night, and he is once again one of the best pitchers in all of baseball.
The Rockies are a much better team in Colorado, and that does have to be considered in this game. The problem for the Rockies is that the Dodgers are terrific on offense, and this could be a high-scoring affair. Why not read more about our mlb runline calculator that is available.
Take the Dodgers to beat the Rockies by at least two runs in the second leg of this MLB parlay.
Saturday: Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners
The Seattle Mariners have continued to be one of the best teams in baseball since June, except when playing the Houston Astros. Houston still has a big lead in the AL West standings and will likely increase that lead this weekend.
Saturday is the best time to bet on the Astros as they will have Framber Valdez on the hill. Valdez is 9-4 with a 2.74 ERA on the year, and he usually gets plenty of run support from his offense.
Seattle will counter with Chris Flexen, but he is just 7-8 with a 3.75 ERA on the season. The Mariners do have a solid lineup, but they just can’t seem to hit against Houston. We recommend reading betting guides such as how the same game parlay works, all of our team offer free parlays daily.
This game will be tight, but taking Houston on Saturday is the right play to make.
Sunday: Chicago White Sox -1.5 vs. Oakland Athletics
The Chicago White Sox just continue to hover right around the .500 mark, and they can’t seem to reel in the Minnesota Twins. Chicago has a great opportunity this weekend as they are ready to host the Oakland Athletics, a team that will be trading away talent.
There is a great chance to bet on the White Sox all weekend long against the Athletics, but the best bet to make is on Sunday. Dylan Cease is ready to start for Chicago, and he has gone 10-4 with a 2.03 ERA on the year.
Oakland has been having a good week against the Houston Astros, but they are limited in what they can do. The Athletics will struggle to score runs on Sunday, and that will let the White Sox break this game wide open.
Take the White Sox -1.5 with the fourth leg of your MLB parlay. Have you ever wondered what a double double is in basketball or how to transfer draftkings to sportsbook, look no futher.
