Rams Take Down Bengals in Super Bowl LVI

The Los Angeles Rams are your Super Bowl LVI champions, but they were not great to bettors. Los Angeles won the game by a 23-20 margin, which means they were unable to cover the spread.

The Los Angeles Rams went into the game as four-point favorites. This side of the line received most of the bets, but Cincinnati covered the spread.

The Cincinnati Bengals did not come out on top, but they were the right call in the final portion of the season from a betting perspective. Cincinnati covered in the past eight games of the year.

The Bengals looked really good throughout the game, but time was obviously running out as the contest developed. The fourth quarter belonged to Los Angeles, and Cooper Kupp took over the game.

This was the reason the Rams prevailed in Super Bowl LVI.

The Bengals Stay Alive Early

Cincinnati ML bettors seemed like they were in good shape throughout the first half. I expected the Bengals to be down by two touchdowns heading into the half, but they only went down 13-10. This was a win for Cincinnati, considering they were taking the ball to start the half.

Odell Beckham started the game with a 17-yard touchdown catch. His odds were +850 to score the first touchdown of the game. He had a terrific game but left the matchup in the second quarter with a knee injury.

This was a huge loss because it allowed the Bengals to key on Cooper Kupp. They were successful until the fourth quarter. Cooper Kupp hauled in the Rams’ second touchdown of the game in the second quarter.

The Bengals’ ten points came from an Evan McPherson field goal and a Tee Higgins touchdown. This was on a trick play where Joe Mixon threw the touchdown.

The first half spread pushed for the Rams at -3. Los Angeles ML bettors seemed worried heading into the second half, especially after Burrow stepped up on their opening drive out of the locker room. Check out the latest trends with the BParlay.com Sports betting news resources.

Tale of Two Halves

The second half started with a touchdown to Tee Higgins down the left sideline. There was a questionable no-call because it looked like Higgins pushed off his defender. However, it resulted in a touchdown, giving Cincinnati their first lead of the game.

The Bengals then added another three points at the 10:15 mark, so they were up by a touchdown. This score came off an interception, and it was apparent the Rams were struggling to find a rhythm.
Although, Aaron Donald and the defensive line kept the Rams alive as the offense struggled. Burrow was sacked seven times in the game, and the majority came in the second half.

Burrow was a sitting duck in the pocket, and he did not have enough protection to score again. Los Angeles had the final ten points of the game. Kupp caught the game-winning touchdown at the 1:25 mark. Why not check out the BParlay.com Sports betting learning resource area for more insights into sports bets.

When the Bengals got the ball back, they were unable to deliver. Cincinnati was close to field goal range, but they turned the ball over on downs to end the game. Kupp was named MVP for his eight receptions for 92 yards and two scores. After the game, he said;

“I’ve said it all year, whatever is asked of me, whatever my job is gonna be, I just want to execute to the best of my abilities. I trust as the game goes on I’ll have opportunities as well, and I just want to stay ready for those things stay locked in.”

Congrats to Rams ML bettors for their win and Bengals bettors who took them ATS.
