The latest News for the upcoming NFL Conference Championship.
An underdog is a hungry dog, and hungry dogs run faster. This was the narrative following the NFL Divisional Round when three of four dogs won outright. If the Bills didn’t allow Patrick Mahomes to go 60 yards in 13 seconds, all four dogs would have gone on the road and prevailed.
I think this weekend will be similar, and that’s why I am picking the dogs. Let’s get into the NFL Conference Championship picks!
Bengals vs Chiefs
I would like The Kansas City Chiefs to win this game SU, but there is not much value when it comes to this number. The Chiefs are favored by a TD at home, which is a big spread to cover. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Chiefs in Week 17 because they could not cover Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase. I do not think Kansas City’s coverage has improved to a level where they can win this game by eight points. Cincinnati should make it entertaining down the stretch once they find a rhythm.
PICK: Bengals +7 (-110)
49ers vs Rams
The world is high on the Los Angeles Rams because they beat the reigning champs on Sunday. Tampa Bay had too many injuries to be competitive, and they got no pressure on Matthew Stafford. At -3.5, most bettors are high on the Rams, but I love the San Francisco 49ers.
For San Francisco to win, they must run the ball with conviction and get to Matthew Stafford. Additionally, history shows the Niners win this matchup. Kyle Shanahan has won six straight against McVay, and Jimmy G has been the signal-caller in all six.
San Francisco may not win, but I like them to be within a field goal on Sunday.
PICK: 49ers +3.5 (-120)
