There is a full slate of MLB games ready to take place on Friday as the baseball action has really heated up to begin the month of June. With so many games set to take place, putting together a winning MLB parlay becomes a good betting option.
Most of the time, you will want to stick with right around three legs for your MLB parlay, but there are four good games to target on Friday. Here is a look at the four games to target and the picks that you should make.
Tampa Bay Rays -210 vs. Chicago White Sox
The Tampa Bay Rays host the Chicago White Sox on Friday night to begin what was supposed to be an interesting series. These two teams are heading in opposite directions at this point of the season, though, and Tampa Bay is a pretty big betting favorite.
The Rays come into this game with a record of 30-21. They are once again a playoff contender in the American League. The White Sox just lost in Toronto, and they are now just 23-26 on the year.
This pitching matchup favors the Rays as well, as it will be Vince Velasquez on the mound for the White Sox. Chicago is missing their best offensive player in Tim Anderson, and they just continue to struggle.
Take the Rays -210 to win the series opener on Friday.
San Diego Padres at Milwaukee Brewers: Under 6.5 Runs
The best game of the day should take place in Milwaukee as the Brewers host the San Diego Padres. What will make this the best game of the day is the fact that this starting pitching matchup is tremendous.
Joe Musgrove (5-0, 1.86 ERA) will start for San Diego. He will be opposed by Corbin Burnes (3-2, 1.95 ERA) of the Brewers. Both the Padres and Brewers have the ability to score some runs, but this is going to be a game dominated by starting pitching.
Don’t expect a ton of runs in this game, as taking the under 6.5 runs is the best way to go. The BParlay.com Parlay Calculator tool is available for our readers, a handy free betting tool.
Boston Red Sox -160 at Oakland Athletics
The Boston Red Sox have gone just 2-3 over their last five games, but they have been trending in the right direction over the last few weeks. Boston will be in Oakland on Friday night to take on an Athletics team that is 20-33 on the year.
Nathan Eovaldi will start for Boston, and he is 2-2 with a 3.77 ERA to begin the season. J.D. Martinez and Trevor Story are having big years at the plate for Boston. That offense should have a big day on Friday night.
Oakland will be sending James Karpriellan to the mound, and he has really struggled to begin the year. The Athletics are also a team that struggles to do much damage at the plate as they are hitting just .212 on the year.
Boston is winning the series opener, and adding them at -160 to your parlay is the way to go. Why not read more about the popular Draftkings Parlay with the BParlay.com guide.
Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 vs. New York Mets
The New York Mets are in Los Angeles this weekend for a matchup between two of the best teams in baseball. Los Angeles is a slight betting favorite in this game, despite their defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
New York has been a terrific offensive team this season as they are hitting .265 to begin the year. The Mets always seem to find a way to come up with a big hit, but that won’t be easy against a Dodgers team that is looking to bounce back.
The Dodgers will begin this series with Tyler Anderson on the mound. He has gone 6-0 to begin the year. Anderson will do his part, and this Dodgers lineup is going to break through in a big way on Friday night.
Take the Dodgers -1.5 as they roll to a big win in the MLB series opener.
