We are in the final week of the college basketball regular season, which means it’s time to dial in and focus. We have limited opportunities left to win this year before the NCAA Tournament, so let’s not allow them to go to waste.
Here are my best college basketball bets for February 22, 2022!
17 Tennessee -11 vs Missouri
Tennessee was rolling before they traveled to Arkansas and got beat by the Razorbacks 58-48. They will travel to Missouri on Tuesday to face the Tigers. The line opened at 11 in favor of the Volunteers, and this is a large gap.
However, Tennessee has done a great job covering large spreads, so I feel confident in the Volunteers behind Santiago Vescovi. The Volunteers are 4-1 SU in their past five against Mizzou and 4-2 ATS in their last six on the Tigers’ home court.

18 Arkansas -1 vs Florida
The Florida Gators basketball team showed how tough their home court is last week, taking down Auburn with ease. Florida is a good college basketball team, but I do not think they have enough juice to pull off two big upsets in a row.
The Razorbacks have covered in their past eight games, and they are 11-1 SU in their last 12. Additionally, they have not lost in their past five road games. It’s hard to bet against these numbers.
Florida is just 1-5 ATS in their last six, so do not be fooled by an outlier game against the best team in the nation. JD Notae will carry the Razorbacks to their ninth straight cover on Tuesday.

Michigan State vs #25 Iowa -7
If I had to take a spread in this game, I would hammer the Hawkeyes. Although, there are better bets in this matchup, like the over. The two things Michigan State and Iowa have in common are a strong offense and a lackluster defense.
The total in this game is set at 152.5, which is very high in college basketball. The teams are a combined 31-19-2 against the over this year. The Hawkeyes have gone over in five of their past seven games.

8 Villanova vs #21 UConn EV
UConn has the reputation they cannot win the big game. This is valid because they struggle against good teams. The last time these teams met in Philadelphia, Villanova cruised to an 85-74 victory.
UConn should come out stronger at home, and they are on a three-game winning streak. Yet, the Wildcats have been so much better than Connecticut this season.
The team beat Providence like it was nothing on the road. Behind Collin Gillespie, the Wildcats are 5-0 in their past road games in Connecticut. This game should be tight, but they will be 6-0 after Tuesday.
PICK: Villanova ML
24 Alabama -3.5 vs Vanderbilt
The Alabama Crimson Tide have exceeded expectations this season, but they have not been perfect. The Tide will walk into a hostile Vanderbilt home court. The Commodores have been an under-the-radar team in 2022 that wins tight games.
Alabama is 2-11 ATS in their past 13 compared to Vandy at 5-0 in their last five ATS. I love the over of 151 in this game and Vandy ATS. Look for Scotty Pippen Jr. to have a big night for Vanderbilt and lead his team to a cover.
