Week 5 NFL Parlay

Week 5 NFL Parlay

Welcome to the BParlay.com Week 5 NFL Parlay.

The fifth week of the NFL season has arrived, and it’s time to win big on our parlay. Parlays are a great way to win because we can put down a small risk to yield a vast reward. Unfortunately, week four did not go in our favor because Mac Jones and the Patriots nearly defeated the Buccaneers.

We were not the only group that lost, though, as 90% of bets were placed on the Buccaneers to cover the spread. Since we lost last week, it’s time to bounce back, and this will happen on Sunday. We have an epic Week 5 NFL Parlay that will yield a nice payout for the fifth week of games.

Week 5

Green Bay Packers -3 (-110) vs. Cincinnati Bengals

If you thought Aaron Rodgers was done after his first start of the 2021 season, you were incorrect. Rodgers has been sensational over his past three games, and I expect this trend to continue against the Bengals.

Rodgers is still playing at an MVP level, and he seems satisfied in Green Bay currently. The quarterback is 80 of 124 for 897 yards with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. Rodgers will lead the Packers into Cincinnati to face Joe Burrow and the Bengals.

Burrow has performed well this season, even though he has not been great protecting the football. The Bengals sneaked past the Jaguars on Thursday night, and they are a talented team, but I think the Packers have the advantage.

Joe Mixon and Tee Higgins are both questionable for the Bengals as well. This could give the Bengals some trouble scoring throughout the contest. Packers continue their domination and win by a touchdown on Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Carolina Panthers -3.5 (-114)

The Panthers proved a lot to me last week against the Cowboys. They went to Dallas and played the team tight, losing by eight points in a high-scoring game. I did not expect Carolina to cover, and I was correct, but they put up a fight without Christian McCaffrey.

McCaffrey was out without a hamstring injury, and his presence could have made the difference in this game. However, he will likely play on Sunday. I would wait to lock this bet in to know his status, but the Panthers’ spread may increase when he is ruled healthy.

Carolina can still win this game without the All-Pro running back. The Philadelphia Eagles have been very inconsistent, which makes them an unreliable team to wager. This game is going to be won on defense.

Philadelphia has allowed 367.5 yards per game, including 150.3 on the ground per game. If McCaffrey plays, he will have a field day running the ball. Carolina is allowing 276.3 yards per game.

Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs Over 56.5 (-110)

The Buffalo Bill and Kansas City Chiefs do not know how to run the football. I am being facetious, but they both want to take shots downfield with Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. Many of the rushing yards they acquire throughout games are on quarterback scrambles as well.

The Bills and Chiefs are both averaging 33.5 points per game. Kansas City’s defense is allowing 31.3 points per game, and that’s why they are 2-2 on the season.

Buffalo’s defense is giving up 11 points per game, but the Chiefs will be their first test of the season. In the past three weeks, they had two shutouts against the Dolphins and Texans, which has skewed the statistics.

The Chiefs are desperate for a win, and the Bills must match their scoring pace. Look for the scoreboard to be lit up frequently, causing this game to go over the total.

The combined odds of the parlay are +584. A $100 wager would pay out $584.17.
