4 Leg Totals Parlay for Saturday’s NCAA Action

4 leg totals parlay for Saturday’s NCAA Action

Week 3 of the college football season is already here, and it is another busy weekend filled with some terrific betting matchups. There are a number of ways to bet on the college football slate in Week 3. But this focus is on total points.

Instead of focusing on the spreads or winners on Saturday, taking a look at the totals is the way to go. Here is a four-leg totals parlay that should hit and offer up a massive payout in Week 3.

Cincinnati Bearcats at Indiana Hoosiers:

NFL Betting Pick IconOver/Under 49.5

The Indiana Hoosiers host the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday in a game that will have plenty of attention. Indiana is trying to pick up a huge resume-boosting win. While Cincinnati is looking to beat a Big Ten team on the road.

Cincinnati is scoring over 45 points per game, and quarterback Desmond Ridder is an explosive player with the ball in his hands. The Bearcats have allowed just 10.5 points per game, but this will be their toughest test of the season.

Indiana is still looking to get the offense rolling, and playing at home in a big game could be the ticket. The Hoosiers have a great quarterback of their own in Michael Penix Jr. And he will be looking for a big game.

It’s likely going to take at least 28 points to win this game, and the final score will be tight. Cincinnati and Indiana are going to combine for at least 50 points on Saturday, and the over is the right play.

Michigan State Spartans at Miami Hurricanes:

NFL Betting Pick IconOver/Under 56.5

The Miami Hurricanes host the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday in what should be a terrific matchup. The over/under odds for this game is set at 56.5 points.  And that does seem a bit high at first glance.

Michigan State is averaging 40 points per game, but they are set to face a Miami defense that has some playmakers. The Hurricanes are allowing 33.5 points per game, but playing Alabama in Week 1 definitely inflated those numbers.

The Spartans love to run the football, but that is actually an area that Miami has been able to defend pretty well this season. The Hurricanes should be able to slow down the attack of the Spartans.  And that will have an effect on the total number of points.

Most bettors love to wager on the over, but that isn’t a smart play in this game. Take the Under in the Michigan State-Miami game, as points will be hard to come by.  The BParlay.com NFL Parlay Betting Guide is available if any of our readers want to learn more about Parlay betting.

Michigan Wolverines vs Northern Illinois Huskies:

NFL Betting Pick IconOver/Under 54

The Michigan Wolverines appear to be “back,” but they will face an upstart Northern Illinois team in Week 3. The Huskies stunned Georgia Tech in the season opener.  And teams from the MAC are always able to pull off some stunning performances.

Michigan is averaging 39 points per game this season, and the Wolverines have done that without much of a passing attack. The Wolverines are going to run the football a ton on Saturday, and that should eventually wear down Northern Illinois.

NIU is scoring 32.5 points per game this season while allowing 35.5 points per game. The Huskies are comfortable playing in a high-scoring affair, and that is what this game will turn into.

Michigan is going to break this game open in the second half, and that is going to lead to a ton of points at the Big House. Northern Illinois will strike on some big plays as well, and they will help push the total to “Over.”

Georgia Bulldogs vs. South Carolina Gamecocks:

NFL Betting Pick IconOver/Under 48

The final game to include in your four-leg totals parlay is an SEC matchup featuring the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks. The Bulldogs are 31.5-point favorites in this matchup, and both the spread and total will be dependent on each other.

While the SEC has turned into a league full of great offensive teams, this game will be played in a more traditional style. This league used to be known for its defenses. And these are two of the best defensive units in the country.

Georgia has allowed just ten total points this season, while South Carolina has allowed just 17 total points. The Bulldogs have played a much tougher schedule up to this point. But the Gamecocks have a defense that is filled with NFL prospects.

South Carolina is going to have to find a way to slow down the Georgia rushing attack, but this will be one of their strengths this season. Georgia might not allow South Carolina to do much scoring at all, but the Gamecocks will control the clock.

These teams are going to combine for a score in the 30s. And the under is clearly the right play in this matchup.
