$50 to $450K for one NFL Parlay Bettor

$50 to $450K for one NFL Parlay Bettor

Every week, we see massive NFL parlay wins shared on social media. Parlays are considered sucker bets because they are difficult to hit, but they have huge payouts. For a parlay, all legs must prevail, or you will lose your stake.

This makes things challenging, especially in a sport like the NFL, where anything can happen. There have been some considerable NFL parlay wins throughout the season, but Week 14 was one of the largest.

An NFL bettor turned $50 into over $450,000 thanks to predicting the correct outcome in every game. The person began their ticket by taking the Minnesota Vikings at -3 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. It cashed when the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals.

Let’s break down this epic ticket!

Stake to Payout

$50 to exactly $454,563.27 is an epic win for the NFL. The bettor took a side in every game and cashed big. The person was offered numerous payouts throughout the week but let it ride, and it paid off.

Week 14 as a whole was one of the best for sports bettors who lean favorites. Favorites went 11-3 overall. However, there is typically not a lot of value when betting favorites on the money line.

Favorites took care of business against the spread as well. Favorites went 10-4 against the spread and ten of the legs on the ticket involved favorites. This is the second big 14-leg win of the year for parlay bettors.

In September, a Michigan man using WynnBET Sportsbook took $10 and created $79,935.75 by taking 14 college under bets. This parlay started with Fresno State shutting out UConn 45-0. It ended with Ole Miss defeating Louisville 43-24. Don’t forget to take a look at the official BParlay.com NFL Picks for some betting inspiration.

The Underdogs

The three underdogs that the bettor took to cover were the 49ers at +1 against the Bengals, Ravens +2.5 versus the Browns, and Falcons +3 on the road at Carolina. Out of these three games, two were nail biters for the bettor.

Cam Newton is not a good quarterback, so the Falcons were able to take care of business on the road. It looked like they should have been favored in the matchup the way it went last Sunday.

Atlanta won by a 29-21 margin, easily covering +3. There was never any doubt in this game, but the other two came down the wire. The 49ers defeated the Bengals in overtime, and Cincinnati had many opportunities to prevail.

What happened next in the game

The Cincinnati Bengals battled back in the second half, and they took the game to overtime. San Francisco missed a game-winning field goal as time expired to force extra time.

When overtime began, the Bengals took the ball first and drove the field. They were forced to settle for three points, which gave Jimmy Garoppolo the ball back. The quarterback and George Kittle tore apart the Bengals, and San Francisco ended the game with a touchdown.

This cashed the +1 side of the spread for the pick’em game. The other contest was more heart-wrenching for the bettor.

If Cleveland had been a decent football team, the Ravens would have been eliminated in the first quarter. Lamar Jackson left the game with an injury, and the team looked out of sorts.

Cleveland was up 24-6 at the half, and I have to imagine the bettor wrote off Baltimore. Although, Tyler Huntley saved the day for the team. He completed 27 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown.

This helped Baltimore outscore the Browns 16-0 in the second half to cover the spread. The Ravens lost by two points, and this kept the NFL parlay alive. If it were not for Huntley, Baltimore would have likely folded after the half.
