Bet365 Launches in New Jersey. Here’s How to Sign Up
Hard Rock Atlantic City is teaming up with two companies to bring additional online sportsbooks to the state of New Jersey. One of those is the UK-based Bet365. Earlier this year, the two companies announced an agreement that would allow Bet365 to use the Hard Rock as their land-based partner to offer a mobile sportsbook platform in the state. State law requires that online sportsbooks have a partnership in place with a land-based licensed sportsbook.
As of August 23, Bet365 was still in what they call a pre-live phase, and the services were only available during certain time periods. However, you can still create an account and start wagering if you’re in New Jersey.
The site should be fully operational soon, which is perfect timing, considering the official start of the regular season for college football and the NFL is quickly approaching.
Bet365 has built quite a reputation for itself across the globe, with a reported base of customers totaling approximately 35 million. It’s expected that much of what Bet365 offers globally will be available to the New Jersey market as well.
Let’s take a look at how you can sign up for an account at Bet365 and some of the features they may offer.
Signing Up for an Account at Bet365
Bet365 can be found at its New Jersey site by clicking one of the buttons below. Mobile will send you to the user-friendly mobile betting app and Desktop will be better if you are visiting the site via a computer.
Signing up for an account is quite simple. If it is your first time to the site, you just need to click the yellow Join button in the top right of the homepage. This will launch a pop-up window where you will need to enter your basic personal information as well as the last four digits of your Social Security number.
You’ll need to choose a username and password as well as a four-digit security number to create your account. If you have a bonus code, you will also be able to enter it here on this page.
Once you fill out all your information, you click the green “Join Bet365” button at the bottom. You’ll then be reminded that you will only be able to wager at Bet365 if you are located in New Jersey at the time you try to play.
If the site is unable to verify your identity automatically online, you may be required to upload supporting documentation such as a bill statement, landline or mobile telephone bill, or utility bill.
Overall, the sign-up process is extremely easy. The only rather annoying part is the identity verification through supporting documentation. However, this is something you’d have to do when you are looking to withdrawal winnings in the future anyway.
Sign-Up Bonuses at Bet365
Bet365 is offering up to $100 in bet credits for new account holds. When you sign up and deposit at least $10, the site will match your deposit up to $100 with bet credits.
Once you make your deposit, you have to place qualifying wagers and then allow the bets to settle. You will then be rewarded with Bet Credits in your account not long after these bets settle. Once they do, you can place future bets with your Bet Credits by selecting the “Use Bet Credits” option on your bet slip.
Full terms and conditions of the offer can be found on Bet365’s website.
In addition, Bet365 has special offers that change based on the season and sport the site is promoting. For example, Bet365 is currently running an MLB Early Payout Offer. This allows you to get your bets paid early if the team you are betting on leads by at least five runs at any point in the game.
There is a similar early payout offer in the NFL, where you can get the early payout if your team leads by at least 17 points at any point in the game. Bet365 also allows parlay bonus offers for tennis as well as multi-sport parlay bonuses.
Bet365 has a complete listing of all its current offers in the footer of its website.
Wager at Bet365
Like its competitors, Bet365 offers a wide variety of sports for players to wager on. They offer a nice selection of markets and sports on their global version, and the New Jersey version is very similar in this regard.
New Jersey players are offered wagers on sports such as:
- Football (college and NFL)
- Baseball
- Hockey
- Basketball (college and NFL)
- Soccer
- Darts
- MMA/boxing
- Rugby
- NASCAR and racing
In addition to a large selection of sports to choose from, Bet365 offers a nice variety of wagers. In addition to the “normal” moneyline, against-the-spread and point total bets, New Jersey players will have nice selection of prop bets, future bets and live in-game betting as well to choose from. The last offering is especially important in today’s sportsbook market, as more and more players are interested in live in-game betting.
Bet365 New Jersey Conclusion
The New Jersey version of Bet365, which is now live, parallels closely with what is offered in the global market, meaning players in the Garden State will get to enjoy what others across the globe have for years.
New Jersey players now have a nice variety of sport and game selection, as well as a number of different wagers, solid lines, and an easy-to-use desktop and mobile interface.
